Everything you need to know about GDC Blaster 2000, all in one place.
GDC Blaster 2000 is a retro-inspired 8-bit space shooter featuring co-op missions, competitive PvP arenas, an in-game marketplace, and over 50 galaxies to explore. Pilot your customizable starship through waves of alien encounters, epic boss fights, and community events — solo or with friends.
Yes! GDC Blaster 2000 supports full crossplay across all platforms — PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile. You can team up or compete with players on any device. Crossplay is enabled by default and can be toggled in Settings > Multiplayer > Crossplay.
Co-op mode supports up to 4 players in raid missions and galaxy exploration. You can join through automatic matchmaking or invite friends directly from your friends list. Co-op missions offer shared loot pools and bonus XP for completing objectives together.
The Marketplace is an in-game trading hub where players can buy, sell, and trade rare loot drops, ship parts, and cosmetic items with other players. The v1.2.0 "Marketplace Update" also introduced Arena Mode, a competitive 1v1 trading card mini-game accessible from the Marketplace terminal.
Each season lasts approximately 3 months and introduces unique rewards, challenges, and a seasonal leaderboard. Competitive ranks reset at the start of each season, but cosmetic rewards you've earned are kept permanently. We're currently in Season 3: Nebula Drift, which runs through March 2026.
There are currently 24 playable ships, each with unique stats and special abilities. Ships are unlocked through gameplay progression, seasonal rewards, and special events. Every ship can be customized with different paint jobs, trails, and decals.
To enable cross-save, go to Settings > Account > Cross-Save and link your platform accounts to your GDC ID. Once linked, your progress, unlocks, and cosmetics will sync across all connected platforms automatically.
First, check that cloud save sync is enabled in Settings > Account > Cloud Save. If your progress is missing after verifying sync is on, try restarting the game and checking for updates. If the issue persists, please contact our support team through the in-game chatbot or the community forum with your GDC ID and platform details.
Cosmetic items (skins, emotes, ship trails) transfer across all platforms via cross-save. However, platform-specific currency (such as console store credits) does not transfer between platforms, as those are managed by each platform's store.
You can change your in-game display name once every 30 days. Go to Settings > Account > Profile > Change Display Name. Names must follow our community guidelines and cannot contain offensive language.
