DUALSENSE FEATURES
HAPTIC FEEDBACK
The DualSense controller provides granular haptic feedback throughout the game:
- Engine vibration — Feel the hum of your ship's engine change based on speed and boost
- Weapon feedback — Each weapon type produces a unique vibration pattern when fired
- Environmental effects — Asteroid fields produce subtle rumble, nebula zones create a pulsing sensation
- Damage indicators — Hits to your ship create directional feedback matching the impact angle
- Marketplace ambiance — A gentle hum plays through the controller when browsing the Marketplace
ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS
- R2 (Fire) — Resistance varies by weapon. The Plasma Cannon has a heavy pull; the Rapid Blaster has a light, responsive trigger
- L2 (Boost) — Builds resistance as your boost gauge depletes, providing physical feedback of remaining fuel
Haptic intensity and adaptive trigger strength can be adjusted independently in
Settings > Controls > DualSense. Options: Off, Low, Medium, High.
SPEAKER AND LIGHT BAR
- The controller speaker plays alert tones for incoming transmissions and low-health warnings
- The light bar changes color based on your ship's hull integrity: green (full) to red (critical)

GDC Blaster 2000 integrates with PS5 Activity Cards, accessible by pressing the
PlayStation button during gameplay:

KNOWN ISSUES
-
FIXED v1.0.2
Rare save corruption —
A small number of players experienced save file corruption when the console entered
rest mode during an autosave. This was fixed in v1.0.2 with improved save-state
handling. If you were affected, your save may be recoverable from PS Plus cloud
storage.
-
KNOWN
Haptics desync after extended play —
After approximately 3 or more hours of continuous play, some users report that haptic
feedback may fall slightly out of sync with on-screen actions. Restarting the game
resolves this issue. A permanent fix is in development.
-
FIXED v1.1.0
Activity Card not updating —
Campaign progress Activity Card sometimes displayed stale data. Fixed in v1.1.0.
-
FIXED v1.2.0
HDR calibration resetting —
Custom HDR brightness settings would revert to defaults after closing the game.
Resolved in v1.2.0.
PLATFORM-SPECIFIC TIPS
TRANSFERRING PS4 PROGRESS
If you previously played on PS4, you can transfer your save data to PS5:

SSD TIPS
-
GDC Blaster 2000 install size is approximately 28 GB on PS5. The game
benefits from the internal SSD's speed, so installing on internal storage is recommended.
-
If you use an external USB drive for PS4 games, note that the PS5 version must be
installed on the internal SSD or an approved M.2 NVMe expansion drive.
-
Load times average under 3 seconds for sector transitions when installed on the internal SSD.
TROPHIES
The PS5 version includes a full trophy set: 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 12 Silver,
